We work to be good stewards of a smart supply chain. Our strength comes from our relationships. There is nothing more important to us than the people our business touches, day to day.

Our Purpose
How did we get here?
When Lowell C. Hagen returned from the Vietnam War in 1973, he began farming and transitioned into trucking. As an entrepreneur, Lowell recognized that the foundation of good business is cultivating strong relationships and providing great value. Lowell believed in Moving Food Forward and incorporated Hagen Trucking in 1979.
The need for flexibility within Wisconsin’s dairy supply chain inspired the development of Hagen Transfer in 1995. Being comprised of two dairy plants, we became a shipper and learned food safety requirements as well as state and federal laws. Although the plants closed in 2010, Hagen Transfer is still alive in the form of a Grade A and Kosher certified tank wash in Janesville, WI.
