Good afternoon all.

This years convention was held in Calgary, AB.  Below is a brief summary with more to come in the future:

Good information was shared regarding various applicable topics
The upcoming ELD mandate
Safety in our industry
Equipment technology from sampling to disc brakes
The NCIMS report from the bi-annual meeting in early May
The weather was stellar - 70's and sunshine
Banff National Park is beautiful - we visited and even took a gondola ride
A great blend of representation from the entire industry was present
Haulers, processors, vendors, and representatives from Alberta Milk were all present and willing to discuss the various important topics

With the help of another IMHA board director and some vested industry contributors we're planning on providing a more in depth status of the three legs to our industry by the end of July.  Those three legs being the producer, the hauler, and the processor.

Overall, I was really glad to be in attendance and a part of an organization that really cares about improvement for the future.

Have a great day,

Brandon
